The DeWalt DCB 117 fast charger offers high-performance charging for all DeWalt XR 18 V batteries and DeWalt FLEXVOLT batteries (54 V or 18 V) at up to 12 A. The special 2-stage charging process, combined with fan cooling, ensures gentle charging that extends the battery’s service life whilst maintaining its maximum storage capacity. An LED display provides information on the battery and charging status at all times, so the user is always kept informed of progress. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the charger is particularly versatile and, with its wall-mounting option, is also suitable for flexible use in workshops or on construction sites. It enables fast, safe and efficient battery charging and ensures that the batteries are quickly ready for use again. Dewalt presents the new battery revolution: The 54-volt XR FLEXVOLT batteries deliver power for the toughest applications. With a high battery capacity of 216 Wh, they are ideally suited for extremely heavy-duty applications over extended periods. Thanks to their backward compatibility, these innovative Li-ion batteries can also be used in almost all machines from the 18-volt XR range. They feature effective protection against overloading, overheating and deep discharge thanks to special electronics. With a battery capacity of 12 Ah in the 18-volt circuit, they offer a very long runtime. Their robust casing and shock-resistant soldered battery cells make them ideal for tough construction site use. The battery is easy to transport, as the cell levels are mechanically separated and the watt-hour capacity is below 100 Wh, which falls below Class 9 hazardous goods classification. A charge level indicator with 3 LEDs allows for easy monitoring of the battery status at the touch of a button. The XR FLEXVOLT batteries are compatible with all Dewalt XR battery-powered tools rated at 54 and 18 volts (excluding the DCS 371 band saw and the DCR 016, DCR 017 and Tough-Radio models).
