The DCB 546 XR FlexVolt battery impresses with its high battery power of 108 Wh, making it perfect for heavy-duty operations over a long period of time. The DCB 546 is fully backwards compatible and can be used in all 18.0 Volt XR equipment. Its special electronics ensure effective protection against overloading, overheating and deep discharge. Its robust and unbreakable construction and shock-proof soldered battery cells ensure optimum suitability for heavy-duty use on the construction site. Moreover, the DCB 546 features a charge status display with 3 LEDs and, thanks to the 6.0 Ah capacity, offers a long service life. The FlexVolt 54 V battery has no memory effect and no self-discharge. It is suitable for all DeWalt XR cordless machines with 54.0 Volt as well as with 18.0 Volt (except band saw DCS 371 and radios DCR 016, 017 and Tough-Radio). The DeWalt 118 charger is designed for use with all 18.0 volt DEWALT XR slide batteries with up to 8 amps and DeWalt FLEXVOLT batteries (54.0 or 18.0 volts at max. 6.0 Ah). Besides, the DeWalt 2-stage charging process of the DeWalt DCB 118 with special fan cooling by means of particularly gentle charging enables a long battery life with maximum storage capacity. The integrated LED indicator on the DeWalt DCB 118 provides information about the battery and charge status and ensures maximum comfort at work. Furthermore, the DCB 118 quick charger is also suitable for wall mounting and its compact dimensions make it easy to install. DeWALT's TSTAK system provides versatile options for storing and transporting tools. The case is padlockable and comes with comfortable bi-material handles. Thanks to the ingenious TSTAK system, this tool box can be connected to other boxes, which makes it easy and safe to transport.
