The DCD708 is a cordless drill driver of the latest generation with a powerful 2-speed drive, yet significantly more compact and lighter than its predecessor. Thanks to its brushless motor, it offers a longer runtime per battery charge and a longer service life. The optimised 2-speed full metal gearbox ensures efficient power transmission, while the 15-stage torque module with reliable cut-off torque enables precise screwdriving work. The finely adjustable switch electronics ensure precise drilling and controlled screwdriving, while the integrated safety electronics continuously monitor the battery temperature, power consumption and discharge protection for trouble-free long-term use. The tool is equipped with a robust 13 mm full metal quick-action drill chuck with centred clamping jaws and automatic spindle lock, a powerful LED light and a sturdy metal belt hook. The scope of delivery includes two ultra-compact 18 V XR lithium-ion batteries with LED capacity indicator, which are also compatible with other 18 V XR machines. The drill driver is suitable for drilling holes up to 13 mm in metal and up to 30 mm in wood as well as for versatile screwdriving applications.
