The Festool interface pad serves as a damping element between the sanding disc and sanding plate. The optimum thickness for sanding work on strongly curved components facilitates sanding work and creates a high level of working comfort with the PLANEX LHS 2 225 EQ (I) long-neck sander. The pad is absolutely essential for the ST-D220/48-LHS 2 225 sanding disc! The pad is attached using the 8 plastic screws supplied. Thanks to the Stick-fix Velcro surface, changing the abrasive and attaching the pad is quick and easy.
