Product Description:

The OF 2200 from Festool is a router which, with its high power of 2200 watts, is suitable for various demanding tasks. The 80 mm routing stroke is impressive when countersinking fittings or routing with routing templates. The torsion-resistant base plate with guide pillars clamped on both sides guarantees high precision and ensures stable support when working. Thanks to the convenient spindle stop with rocker and ratchet principle, the router bit can be changed in a flash without having to move the spanner. The routing depth can be set easily and precisely to an accuracy of 1/10 mm. The quick brake stops the milling cutter in a matter of seconds, ensuring a high level of safety when milling. The MMC Electronic ( Multi-Material-Control Electronic ) guarantees material-compatible working. Replacing the copy ring and soleplate is very easy thanks to the elimination of the mounting tool. Thanks to the chip catcher and the extraction bonnet, dust and chips can be easily extracted when routing edges. The profile router setting is very easy to adjust thanks to the base plate that can be coupled and uncoupled. The 30° offset side stop ensures good ergonomics when working. It can therefore be used for various routing tasks such as rebating, grooving and profiling workpieces, routing large cut-outs, circles and arches with the multi routing template, producing worktop corner joints with the worktop template or routing door seals and edge gears in windows and doors. Festool is a premium manufacturer of power tools, characterised above all by its long tradition and very high quality of workmanship.
