The Makita DJS131 is a compact 18 V cordless curved shear (LXT) for precise cuts in sheet metal, which is particularly practical for curved cuts and cutting corrugated sheet metal. According to Makita, it is suitable for material thicknesses of up to 1.3 mm and achieves an idle speed of up to 3,000 min-¹ with its brushless motor. The cutting head, which can be rotated through 360° in 12 stages, ensures a high level of working comfort - allowing the machine to be optimally aligned even in tight situations. In addition, an integrated LED light (with pre/post-glow) supports the view of the cutting line. The DJS131 is also well equipped for everyday use on construction sites. Makita calls XPT (Extreme Protection Technology) protection against dust and splash water, as well as deep discharge protection, which automatically switches the device off when the battery is almost empty. The ergonomically shaped handle ensures a secure grip and controlled guidance.
