Product Description:

The Makita DTR181 cordless rebar splicer is a user-friendly, cordless tool for quickly and efficiently splicing rebar and underfloor heating and, thanks to its one-handed operation mode, enables precise positioning of the rebar before fastening, while the wire reel can be easily changed and around 130-150 cm of wire is required per splice. For a long service life, it is recommended to clean the cutting link section with a nylon brush after each roll box (approx. 50 bindings); the device is ideally suited for binding thicknesses such as D22 × D25 or D16 × D16. A brushless motor ensures low-maintenance, long-lasting operation, while XPT technology reliably protects the device against dust and splash water. The integrated deep discharge protection switches the tool off automatically as soon as the battery is almost empty, thus ensuring additional safety and battery conservation - perfect for use on construction sites in demanding conditions.
