Product Description:
In order to fulfil the special requirements for processing stainless steel (INOX), PFERD uses wire grade 1.4310 (V2A) for all INOX brushes. Practical experience from the industrial environment confirms that it has very good corrosion resistance with an optimum service life. All PFERD brushes with INOX filaments are labelled blue and are suitable for use on all stainless steels (INOX) - such as V4A. Wire grade 1.4310 tends to exhibit ferromagnetic behaviour when work hardened, i.e. it is attracted by magnets, due to a change in the microstructure caused by deformation, e.g. during wire drawing. This has no influence on the quality and corrosion resistance of the INOX trim. It retains its corrosion-resistant properties. Stainless steel wire (INOX) can withstand temperatures of up to 450 °C. Aggressive brush. Suitable for heavy-duty brushing work in metal construction such as descaling - derusting - deburring - cleaning weld seams and removing adhesive residue and weld spatter.
